Working with YIAGA, OPA led activities aimed at domesticating the #NotTooYoungToRun bill in Kaduna state. OPA coordinated youths and civil society groups to engage state legislators and succeeded in getting the #NotTooYoungToRun bill passed by the Kaduna State House of Assembly.

During the recent Continuous Voter Registration exercise, OPA conducted a Go Get Your PVC campaign to enable people living in hard to reach communities to collect their permanent voters' card (PVC). OPA contracted commercial buses to pick residents up from their communities to collection points and back to their communities.

Together with the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue, OPA facilitated dialogue sessions in conflict-affected and conflict-prone communities in Shendam LGA of Plateau state. This platform helped community leaders, farmers and herders to amicably resolve issues such as blockage of cattle routes, destruction of crops by cattle and farm encroachment.
